Landscape Artist in Oils and Watercolour

BiographyBill has had a life-long interest in art.  He started taking courses as a young “kid” at ACA.  He spent a number of years taking summer courses at Lakeland College and credit Dean Tatum Reeves for his wonderful instruction in watercolour painting.  Bill taught school at Kathyrn and Chestermere, not in the area of art but in computers and math.  He has taught painting workshops in the Chestermere area.
Bill’s is a landscape artist.  All of his images have been derived from his  many hiking/backpacking trips in the Rockies and the surrounding prairie area.  “The thing that keeps me interested is a deep sense of accomplishment when a painting is completed and you’re happy with it.” A painting has many components to it: composition; colour; value,  center of interest and technical skill applying the paint.
